great early reggae version of Willie Tee’s soul hit
Peter Austin recalls: "Walking Up A One Way Street" was given to me by Doreen Campbell, Prince Buster's sister, she said she heard the song (by Willie Tee) and she thought i would do a good version of it in reggae. So she wrote the words of the song and played it for me. She was at the time working in the record shop of her brother Prince Buster (Cecil Campbell) on Orange Street. We became good friends after we met when i did two songs for her brother."
