The song has been originally recorded by John Holt with his group The Paragons in 1968 on Duke Reid's Duke label and since then it has been covered by numerous other reggae artists including Dennis Brown, UB40 and Horace Andy, becoming a massive hit thanks to Andy's more recent version with trip-hop superstars Massive Attack in their album Mezzazine. On the flip side you'll find the rock steady scorcher Austerity Skank that has already gained support on the airwaves by reagge ambassadords David Rodigan and Don Letts!
